Writing Conclusion Sentences for Elementary School Students Throughout my tutoring experience, I have found that many students of all ages have difficulty writing conclusion sentences. A good activity for elementary students is to give them a topic sentence and then tell them they need to write a conclusion that expresses the SAME IDEA but use DIFFERENT WORDS.
With this fifth-grade essay writing worksheet, your students will get practice writing a conclusion paragraph. First, they will read an informational text about photosynthesis. Then, they will follow the steps to write a stong conclusion on the topic, including reminding readers of the main facts and creating a memorable ending.
Give an overview of the instructional video, including vocabulary and any special materials needed for the instructional video. We recommend keeping it to 1-2 paragraphs.
